LSEG Marketing Manager - Issuer Services, Capital Markets in London, United Kingdom

Role Profile

London Stock Exchange Group is a global markets infrastructure business. We provide valuable services for a wide range of customers, focusing on Capital Formation, Risk and Balance Sheet Management. The Group plays a vital economic and social role in enabling companies to access funds for growth and development.

Our Primary Markets team works with management teams all over the world, promoting London as a listing destination and supporting them in coming to market to raise finance to support their goals and vision. Once businesses have listed a bond or completed an IPO on our markets, they become issuers and the ongoing relationship with existing clients is managed through our Issuer Services team.

We recently launched a new Issuer Services digital platform which provides issuers with:

  • a single point of access to the breadth of services available to them from the whole of London Stock Exchange Group, including data and analytics, our Regulatory News Services and Spark Live our online events hosting platform

  • access to unique marketing opportunities

  • access to thought leadership and events, designed to help issuers maximise their effectiveness as publicly listed companies.

Through our Issuer Services platform, we’re looking to build a digital community bringing together our trading members, investors, issuers and advisers.

This is a relatively new part of our business, with ambitious development plans and high growth targets. It is also one of the Synergy business cases from LSEG’s recent acquisition of Refinitiv and as such is strategically important to the wider Group.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering marketing plans and activity, to support the commercial and strategic goals of the Issuer Services team, building the brand internationally and delivering marketing activations to attract new leads and deliver product sales.

This is a fast-paced exciting role, with high visibility and global reach.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Planning and Proposition Development

  • Work closely with the business team to identify commercial and strategic priorities and translate these into marketing objectives and plans for the year

  • Develop the Issuer Services marketing proposition and messaging

  • Develop the ‘go to market’ strategies and plans for new product releases

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the Issuer Services audience and their needs and use this to shape marketing activities and materials

  • Understand trends and opportunities and the landscape in order develop targeted marketing campaigns


  • Work with the Integrated Marketing and Content teams (as well as external agencies) to execute the marketing plan across the year to support new product launches, leads generation and pipeline conversion. Including:

  • creation of multi-channel marketing campaigns – using organic and paid channels

  • content creation – e.g. blogs/ reports/ videos to support strategic themes and priorities

  • sales enablement tools

  • events and webinars to support pipeline

  • Evaluation of marketing activities and budget management

  • Utilise marketing technology to develop most effective ways of generating and converting leads


  • Bring the Issuer Services proposition to life, using the London Stock Exchange/ LSEG brand

  • Seek opportunities to raise the profile of London Stock Exchange and Issuer Services

  • Ensure the brand is presented consistently and professionally across all marketing communications

Collaboration and Relationships

  • Develop a strong relationship with the business and product teams to ensure sound understanding of the business and to ensure marketing is delivering against commercial objectives

  • Work closely with the rest of the Capital Markets and LSEG Marketing team and find opportunities for collaboration

  • Develop good working relationships with other key internal teams including Integrated Marketing, Content Studio, Press Office, Digital, Legal and Brand teams, coordinating with the Events team for customer events

  • Manage external agencies to ensure professional delivery of materials and value for money

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

  • Cross channel B2B Marketing expertise – (ideally with marketing qualification but not essential)

  • Financial services experience – (Capital Markets knowledge an advantage)

  • Good organisational and planning skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Emotional intelligence and willingness to work at times to short deadlines

  • Self-motivated; and a team player
