Pearson Management and Leadership Trainer in London, United Kingdom

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Management and Leadership Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working as a Manager/Leader and will be responsible for delivering pre-designed management and leadership training programmes both remotely and face-to-face across the UK to public and private sector organisations. This role requires a passionate individual with a strong background in leadership development and a proven track record of facilitating engaging and impactful training sessions.

Your responsibilities will include delivering dynamic and exceptional training sessions using pre-prepared materials; delivery could be online or face to face.

Core tasks and responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-designed management and leadership training sessions both remotely (via virtual platforms) and face-to-face at various locations across the UK.

  • Utilise a variety of training methodologies, techniques, and tools to ensure effective learning and engagement.

  • Ensure participants have a positive and impactful learning experience.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in management and leadership training.

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.

  • Conduct assessments (as required) within set timeframes to monitor progress and generate evidence for progression.

  • Conduct both face-to-face and virtual workshop sessions

  • Engage in CPD activities, attend meetings, and support other qualifications/ programmes as needed.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering management and leadership training to at least Level 5..

  • Industry competence and experience in a management role.

  • Strong knowledge of leadership theories, models, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Can consistently demonstrate operating as an outstanding or minimum good trainer/assessor, through previous OTLA (Observation of Teaching and Learning) and standardisation observations.

  • Proficient in managing learners and caseloads effectively.

  • Proficiency in using virtual training platforms and tools.

  • Utilises technology adeptly to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

  • Ability to travel across the UK for face-to-face training sessions as required.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate participants.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Adaptability and flexibility in delivering training in various formats.

  • High level of professionalism and integrity.

  • Certification in training and assessment is desirable.
