Team description

The FTSE Russell Global Strategic Account Management team works with our largest asset managers, ETF providers, investment banks and structuring desks to cover index solutions. The team leads clients in exploring the creation of ETFs, index funds and structured products for portfolio solutions, trading strategies, risk management research, analysis, and marketing.

Role description

Reporting to the Head of EMEA for Global Strategic Account Management, FTSE Russell, the role requires direct management of our global relationship with some of the largest financial institutions. Responsibilities include leading revenue generation, encouraging product adoption and education, as well as AUM growth, you will achieve this by working closely with the designated clients providing key consultative solutions and focused relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of personal new business targets on a quarterly basis, and Management Business Objectives identified for sustained growth of our index business.

  • Managing the relationship with some of FTSE Russell’s largest clients globally – driving activity, delivering results, managing change and providing regular reporting and updates to senior management.

  • Owning and driving the leadership of account structure and senior customer relationships, new business sales and coordinating regional and junior team members covering the designated accounts.

  • Development and implementation of strategic growth plans for the designated clients to increase client and market penetration, ensuring effective implementation across all global regions.

  • Delivery of revenue synergy goals across Sustainable Investing, Fixed Income and Equity Products through sales growth, cross selling and commercial policy developments.

  • Close collaboration with other teams including Asset Owner & Consultant Sales, Wealth Management, Research, Sustainable Investing and Derivatives specialists to ensure coordination of client management and opportunities.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Accurate forecasting and planning of sales strategies .

  • Detailed recording of all client activity for CRM in Salesforce.

  • Support product and market campaigns

  • Ensure existing client relationships are leveraged to broaden global footprint.

  • Gathering and analyzing market intelligence, competitor analysis and market trends / conditions are gathered and monitored.

  • Identify new business sector and thematic investing opportunities

  • Work with management to facilitate planning, reporting, analysis, and strategy development.
