FIMA UI Analyst Programmer - UI Technologies, ISD Research and Development, London

Role Details

Role sits within Data and Analytics division of LSEG. Role will support Fixed Income Multiple Asset Index development, which is key and strategic initiative of LSEG. Role will get an extensive exposure to equity, fixed income and other asset classes and related market data. UI developer will work in an agile team to deliver various new and on-going projects. Agile team spans across Europe, Asia and America regions, so communication and collaboration is key. Role will be critical link between larger UI development team and Fixed Income Multi asset data team. Role provides an exposure to latest Microsoft UI technologies. Role is expected work on greenfield projects, take ownership of work from analysis to product deployment.

We are looking for someone who has worked on legacy and latest Microsoft UI technologies and have passion to work on greenfield projects involving new Microsoft technologies. Anyone who has worked in financial domain (especially in Index or portfolio management or asset management domains) will be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Prime UI and Prime FIMA Index products internal business tools.

  • Delivery of Customer facing Corporate web products and Analytical tools

  • Work with Business, Operations and occasionally Quants

  • Iterative Development/Agile

  • End to end system builder from Analysis, Development and Support

  • Work FIMA backend team.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

  • Essential

C# .NET, ADO.NET, Windows Services, XAML (WPF or Silverlight), ASP.NET, Web Api, Angular, ASP.NET MVC 4+, Typescript, Javascript, SQL Server, TDD, Java API Services

  • Nice to have SQL, Microsoft SQL Server / OracleFixed income, Equity and Multi asset product knowledge.
