Located in London, Mayo Clinic Healthcare offers an array of services, including a range of comprehensive health assessments, specialist consultations, concierge medical programmes and second opinion services. We offer expert care to our patients in London and also provide a gateway to a variety of highly skilled specialists and services in the United States. We are recruiting applicants with endoscopy experience.

This position is located in London. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.K. and have an active registered U.K. general nurse license. Relocation is not provided. The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model in conjunction with London, United Kingdom's Department of Nursing, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as a part of the responsibility of their role.

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

• Provide quality care across the endoscopy patient pathway

• Support and assist the Endoscopy Lead in the management and organisation of care provision within the endoscopy unit

• Provide quality care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures within own scope of practice

Qualifications

• Must have a valid NMC pin

• Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in endoscopy

• Basic and advanced competence / experience in endoscopy care

• Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
