This position can be based in London or Warwick – Hybrid working model

Job Purpose

As an Employer Branding Coordinator at National Grid, you will work alongside the Recruitment team and collaborate with departments such as People and Culture, DE&I, Communications, and Corporate Affairs. Your main focus will be executing the employer brand strategy, emphasizing storytelling both internally and externally to position National Grid as a top employer. This entry-level role primarily supports employer brand initiatives

What you'll do

  • Translate National Grid's employer brand to local markets across multiple channels.

  • Create engaging content (blogs, social media posts, videos) to increase brand awareness.

  • Take ownership of tools and programs that extend the reach of the employer brand.

  • Collaborate with recruiters to develop targeted engagement campaigns for open roles.

  • Contribute to a multi-channel marketing plan supporting Early Careers growth.

  • Plan and execute campaigns from awareness to conversion.

  • Coordinate creation of marketing assets for campaigns.

  • Manage external agencies for social media and digital advertising.

  • Align messaging with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team.

  • Build relationships with marketing, communication, DE&I, and recruitment teams.

  • Utilize digital tools to attract potential candidates.

  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.

  • Enhance operational efficiency in recruiting through analysis and feedback.

  • Drive awareness of National Grid in STEM fields, emphasizing diversity and community partnerships.

  • Coordinate with social media representatives, creative agencies, and internal teams for engaging content.

About you

  • Passion in employer branding, digital marketing, content marketing, or social media marketing.

  • Familiarity with recruitment marketing channels, including emerging media and technologies, and experience running paid media campaigns.

  • Ability to collaborate with global recruitment teams and understand their unique challenges.

  • Passion for connecting with candidates and employees through authentic storytelling.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with great attention to detail.

  • Desirable but not essential experience working with a CMS to create, edit, and manage content for external consumption.

  • Video editing experience is preferred but not required.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not mandatory.

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £30,000 – £40,000 – dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
