Responsibilities and Impact:

The Account Manager – Marketing is an essential role within The 199. They act as the bridge between the divisional business partners and the agency. They are responsible for ensuring that the agency is meeting its customer needs, working with all the key functions that go into creating the agency’s output. They are constantly solving problems, managing internal and external communications, and driving projects to completion.

  • Responsible for quality, service, and cost within the assigned line of business across the following creative/marketing activities

  • o Tier 2 high – medium creative marketing campaigns/projects

  • o Support for initiatives across Tier 1 & 3 complexity creative projects (where required)

  • Managing the division/business partner relationship through effective communication, problem solving, and responding to requests

  • Taking client communication briefs and creating actionable and insightful agency assignment briefs – where required, supporting the Business Lead with drafting creative briefs

  • Supporting the divisional internal forecasting and planning processes to predict and project future workload

  • Have a first-class knowledge of agency reporting tools and dashboards (primarily Adobe Workfront)

  • Ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are met, communicating, and seeking approval of any change requests, scope and/or timing change

  • Identifying ways to elevate our creative product, output and provide value-add to the division above and beyond the day-to-day

  • Upkeep of Workfront campaign management tool for all campaign/project related requirements (both in-project and post project)

  • Using data to keep the team and the client up to date with useful knowledge, trends and business acumen

  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions, and next actions.

  • Working with the Business Lead to limit scope creep, bill client accurately, chase unpaid invoices,do post-project reconciliations e.g., for reporting purposes

  • Engaging in understanding the work and capacity of team members to provide accurate reporting to senior management and capacity support where required e.g., Project Manager

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing /or a business-related degree; or equivalent work experience

  • Experience in both account and project management

  • 3+ years’ experience of working in large/matrix organizations, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements, preferably within a creative environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship development skills

  • Sound understanding of the creative process with marketing literacy

  • Passion for creative excellence and a true brand champion, the Account manager will Inspire the team to deliver brilliant work in the most effective way with an outstanding service ethos

  • Agile mindset, a desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice

  • Both diplomatic and persuasive in equal measure

  • Spirited, adaptable, friendly, diligent and customer focused

  • Strong collaborator with a global outlook and the ability to self-start

  • Curious to learn and share new ideas

  • Adept in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office and campaign management tools
