Housekeeping service for 20-25 individual rooms daily; change/make beds, clean bathrooms, dust, empty garbage, vacuum carpets; clean floors, fireplaces, grills, walls, microwave; bundle laundry for pickup, clean warehouse. Clean bathrooms, dust furniture, change beds upon checkout. Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances. Semi-annually or as needed tasks: wash windows, shampoo carpets, wash walls, wax floors, defrost refrigerators, clean light fixtures, clean ovens, change blankets and mattress covers, wash curtains. Inspect fire extinguishers in building monthly.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of:

  • Different types of flooring/floors covering sufficient to determine proper methods of maintenance and appropriate cleaning methods, materials, agents, and equipment.

  • Chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, bleaches, scouring agents and soaps sufficient to appropriately select the agent(s), handle and apply, and dispose of safely.

  • Methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance sufficient to use effectively and operate safely and to make minor repairs.

Ability to:

  • Maintain physical health and endurance sufficient to perform work functions.

  • Follow simple oral and written instructions.

  • Perform assigned tasks with limited work direction.

  • Keep simple records.

  • Adhere to health and safety standards set by employers

  • Report damage left by guests to supervisors

Must pass a criminal background check.

Requires a valid Class D Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of:

  • Warehouse functions and inventory maintenance sufficient to inspect and maintain all equipment.

  • Local laundering of specific items and coordinating all others within an external laundry facility.

Ability to:

  • Identify, participate, and complete with accuracy all custodial duties and special projects.

  • Recognize and report problems, repairs, and deficiencies to the supervisor.

Physical Requirements

Maintain physical health and endurance sufficient to perform work functions.
