Curriculum Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead to spearhead our vocational education initiatives in the UK – Midlands region. This role will focus on driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence in the vocational education sector.
As member of the Workforce Skills VQ Sales Team, you will work collaboratively as appropriate with colleagues to build the business in line with customer needs. You will provide expert professional guidance and support to your customers.
The person for this role must live in the Midlands region.
Sales Performance and Growth
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for your region to achieve revenue targets
Actively drive revenue growth by promoting Pearson’s products and services, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Identify and develop new opportunities through targeted prospecting, presentations, and data-driven strategies
Deliver accurate and timely financial forecasts, and commercial performance reporting
Market Insights and Data-Driven Strategy
Analyse and leverage local & regional market data and trends to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
Adapt strategies based on insights to maximise revenue opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
Account and Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Collaborate with internal lead account management efforts by aligning Pearson’s curriculum solutions with educational institutions’ needs, driving customer satisfaction, and fostering lasting, growth-oriented relationships.
Customer Engagement and Training
Deliver proactive customer support to enhance satisfaction and retention, responding to centre queries promptly
Promoting training events that deepen product usage and loyalty
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
- Provide clear, data-rich reports and feedback to support strategic planning and ensure timely adjustments to align with market demands and business goals.
Ad Hoc Sales Support
- Offer flexible support across the team as needed to achieve overall regional sales objectives and grow market share.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
Knowledge of the educational landscape across vocational sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and access to a car, as travel will be required.
Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
