Who We’re Looking For
Toyota’s newest manufacturing facility – in Greensboro, North Carolina – is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Maintenance Planning Senior Analyst.
Prior to starting battery production, this person will work to support the establishment of TBMNC Maintenance Systems. This includes creating the framework for efficient work order management, job planning, forecasting, budget planning and management, spare part management, etc. This person will be involved from prior to equipment buy-off with focus on proper data management for supporting operational readiness. After starting battery production, this person will manage the maintenance department data to include change management, work order management, preventative/predictive failure reporting, spare part readiness, and budget management. There will be a strong emphasis of continuous improvement and cross functional collaboration with Production and Engineering in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Members of the maintenance team will travel to Japan for pre-production trials. The Maintenance Planning Senior Analyst will work with this team to confirm operational/data readiness (equipment maintenance ledger, maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, etc.) through these trials.
The Maintenance Planning Senior Analyst is expected to provide guidance and leadership to Planning Analyst(s), to share knowledgeable to support learning quickly about maintenance systems and how to provide support and direction to the maintenance and production team.
The Maintenance Planning Senior Analyst is expected to have a strong focus on maintenance systems and Key Performance Indicators to drive TBMNC periodic, predictive, preventive, and Operator based Ownership Maintenance/Machine Care.
A key responsibility includes establishing maintenance plans, high frequency shutdown job/resource planning, budget management and successful plan execution.
After starting production, the Maintenance Planning Senior Analyst will track, visualize and report appropriate KPIs and support achievement through pro-active leadership in visualizing the current and trending condition, supporting and leading problem solving and providing measurable & continual improvement.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment, and project management team experience.
Ability to assemble cross functional groups to work toward a common goal using communication & visualization skills.
Operational experience with maintenance related software such as: CMMS (Maximo, SAP), Accounting/Business software (SAP, Ariba).
Experience in maintenance processes such as: spare parts inventory control, equipment maintenance planning, and operating and capital expenditure tracking and management processes and systems.
Expertise with managing of large sets of data and using data to visualize and confirm project readiness and manage data to drive problem solving.
Added Bonus If You Have
Experience with new project participation, major model change or new model / product launch.
Experience with planning and scheduling for manufacturing environments or 24/7 operation.
PowerBI, PowerApps, SQL database experience, Microsoft 365 products.
Experience with equipment components, specifications, interfacing with spare part suppliers/vendors and readiness for start of production.
Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles (quickly able to utilize fundamental Toyota skills like: 4S, FMDS, TBP, Visualization, etc.).
