Job Description

This position conducts post-award activities within the Grants Management Office in support of funded project financial monitoring, reporting and billing. This position will be responsible for monitoring and reporting funded project salary allocations and conducting the effort certification compliance process to ensure effort is reported timely ad accurately.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or through equivalent work experience plus a minimum of four years related work experience. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in research, interpreting, and analyzing of diverse data and possess ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals. Candidate must be highly organized with the ability to implement process/system changes; ability to work under pressure, use independent judgment, and produce high quality work within time constraints. Ability to communicate financial and budgetary details w/both internal staff and external contacts. Ability to work well with others under multiple and competing deadline situations and respond to changing priorities. Advanced knowledge of federal circulars, e.g., 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and A133 (Single Audit) compliance. Advanced understanding of cost principles, both direct and indirect. Thorough knowledge of the administrative requirements and regulations of Federal and foundation/non-profit funding sources. Familiar with 501c 3 and 501c 6 organization/operations. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe Pro and familiarity with Workday and Salesforce for monitoring and tracking project finances and deliverables. CFRA certification preferred.
