Job Description:
Support assigned product line(s) for the Ameriprise Federal Savings Bank (FSB) Operations team. Responsible for understanding and maintaining reference documentation for all operational oversight processes, both internal and external, for assigned product line(s). Provide project support and lead process reviews identifying risk and develop solutions while maintaining regulatory and supervisory controls. Complete day-to-day operations processing tasks, such as auditing, processing transactions, and approval of reissued and rewritten transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-years)
5 years banking lending product operations experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight time frames and deadlines, while achieving a high degree of accuracy.
Strong ability to lead, partner, and influence across different business lines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to drive results and meet deadlines to reduce risks.
Experience with control validation and quality assurance.
Experience with risk management programs (e.g., issue management, change management, etc.)

Senior Analyst Bank Operations
Responsibilities:
Research, respond and resolve complex issues initiated by high-priority advisors, clients or other relationship partners accurately, efficiently and timely. Communicating the status of these requests to applicable internal and external business partners.
Effectively manage a high-volume case load to ensure that all issues are resolved quickly and accurately.
Ensure key controls are in place to mitigate risk (e.g., operational, regulatory, financial, etc.).
Provide project support and lead process reviews identifying risk and developing solutions while maintaining regulatory and supervisory controls.
Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to mitigate current and future business risk.
Partner across the business to execute and maintain a first line of defense risk and control program.
Prepare quarterly Certified Self-Assessments including gathering evidence and ensuring accuracy.
Actively identify opportunities to recommend, develop and build service and operations improvements and implement solutions as appropriate. Participate in various team or department project requests, as assigned.
Responsible for understanding and maintaining reference documentation for all operational oversight processes, both internal and external, for assigned product line.
Provide expertise to other areas for enhancement and implementation of self-monitoring plans.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree or equivalent (2-years)
3 to 5 years relevant experience required
3+ years of banking experience.
Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience.
Good analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling.
Strong knowledge of banking operations and processes.
Ability to communicate effectively on recommendations and analysis results and establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
