Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at SSM St Joseph Hospital West in Lake St Louis, a 215 bed acute care hospital. The position will work full time with excellent benefits.

We are looking for candidates who will:
provide education to patients, as well as staff and work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment.
have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
strong time management and organizational skills are needed to be successful in this position
The ideal candidate will have/be :
familiarity with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Health Records, facility uses EPIC
strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice;
a Registered Dietitian, eligible for licensure in the state; and
the ability to meet DOH/state/federal and company standards

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)(Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
