We are hiring for a Manager , Informatics (individual contributor) role to support our risk adjustment teams (Medicare , ACA) development and analysis work.

This position will play an important role to build ad-hoc and recurring data models and visualizations, address data queries, review anomalies and present the data to management.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to

  • Ability to work and develop Python code.

  • Build Tableau/Power BI visualizations.

  • Ability to review SAS code as needed to migrate to python.

  • Work on Risk adjustment models provided by CMS.

  • Work with member, claim, pharmacy, lab , survey and supplemental data present on various databases in the organization.

  • Analyzing data to understand trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to represent data effectively.

  • Connecting to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services.

  • Preparing and cleaning data to ensure accuracy and consistency for visualization.

  • Managing data extract refreshes and optimizing performance.

  • Working closely with stakeholders, such as business analysts and managers, to gather requirements and understand business needs.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to data discrepancies or visualization errors.

  • Maintaining and updating dashboards and reports as new data becomes available or business requirements change.

  • Ability to connect appeals operational process knowledge to data trends and patterns to come to meaningful conclusions.

  • Understand business intent and operate independently to bring relevant insights.

  • Be an effective communicator.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, and Google Cloud.

  • Ability to leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate data sets from disparate data sources.

  • Ability to understand complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems.

  • Working experience with both Tableau and Power BI.

  • Experience with DBMS is highly desirable (DB2 or MSSQL) as well as knowledge of SAS.

  • Experience building data transformation and processing solutions. Has strong knowledge of large-scale search applications and building high volume data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies including SAFe concepts as well as familiarity with Agile tools such as Rally, JIRA

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
