Novant Health Registered Nurse-LDRP in Kernersville, North Carolina
Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center is seeking RN's for our new expansion 12 bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum unit (LDRP) to work and be supportive and compassionate during all phases of ante-through postpartum care. When mothers and babies begin their journey at Novant with excellent nurses by their side, the bond is remarkable! Must have prior Labor & Delivery experience within the past 5 years
Schedule:
This is a full-time, 36 hour per week shift position. The hours are 7A-7P. Weekend and holiday rotation required. This position will not have a start date for 2-3 months.
Responsibilities:
This all-inclusive LDRP unit takes care of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum patients.
The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system.
RN's on this unit do both L/D and Mother/Baby

Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
