About the role
Head of Operations - Warwick (hybrid working)
National Grid - Asset Operations, is fully accountable for the performance and management of all assets and site locations on the Electricity Transmission Network (including asset management, asset health, operations, site occupier, maintenance, refurbishment and small capital replacement) and for facilitating and enabling the connection of larger scale new infrastructure and capital works.
We are looking for a Head of Operations to lead a number of large multi-disciplined operational teams across an area, accountable for full asset ownership, a safe working environment, financial controls and ensuring effective utilisation of resources for delivering all aspects of substation delivery.
You will be part of a team who are dedicated to succeed in getting to Net Zero.
What you'll be getting up to
Maintain highest levels of safety and sustainability in all activities in Ops across the zone.
Assure all work delivered and all activities undertaken are executed to the highest level of quality standards in line with relevant procedures and standards
Meet the legislative requirements of Occupier Duties.
Provide safe access to the system and commission new assets onto the system safely.
Deliver all operational tasks, to time and budget ensuring year on year improvements in productivity.
Create a compelling vision of the future and effectively communicate change.
Ensure emergency planning and preparedness including black start to be complete for each zone.

About you
You will be the experience in leading operations in a multi site organisation, preferably within energy, construction or infrastructure.
