Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

As a Sales Executive , reporting to the Director of Sales, you will manage key account relationships (20%) and develop new ones (80%) within NRB’s Alberta and British Columbia market. In this role, you will be responsible for executing on a strategy to maintain NRB’s current housing market share while expanding the reach into the market, including multi-family, seniors living housing, and select industrial/commercial applications where appropriate. This role requires the availability to travel regularly to various locations throughout Alberta and British Columbia up to 20% of the time.

Your work will include:

  • Seek and follow up on various sales leads and process tenders.

  • Meet with new and existing clients.

  • Develop and maintain healthy and prosperous client relationships.

  • Follow up on all quotations sent within a specified time frame.

  • Successfully collaborate with operations and marketing to build execution plans to deliver on strategy.

  • Keep informed of market trends and regulatory changes to allow NRB to properly respond to economic, technological, and industry changes.

  • Prospect via industry periodicals on a weekly basis.

  • Monitor and report competitor and industry data.

  • Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings.

  • Be perpetually engaged in the development and enhancement of the selling process by identifying opportunities, understanding buyer motivation, identifying competitive strengths/weaknesses, dealing with buyer objections.

  • Represent, promote, and develop strategic relationships for NRB with clients, governmental and regulatory decision makers.

  • University degree in commerce, business administration, engineering or related field is an asset.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or business development.

  • Previous sales experience in the construction industry is an asset.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be flexible to travel.
