In this role as a Senior System Architect , we are looking for a professional who can determine systems architectural design as well as lead building activities and handle technical support escalations as needed. You will be responsible for managing projects and support queues for solutions and services. You will get the opportunity to consult with other teams for incident solutions which will enable you to be more proactive when needed to analyze, troubleshoot, and improve system performance issues. This associate will also work closely with other System Engineers and support teams to mentor them through diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems to support the business.

At least 8 years total combined completed higher education and related work experience, including:
At least 2 years of system engineering and/or system architecture work experience
At least 6 years completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the job
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Automation experience in - Chef, Ansible, PowerShell and/or Python
Architecture - Understanding and engaging on OS based best practices
Experience in Security Implementation to ensure a protected environment
Ability to be innovative and continue to find improvement opportunities across all areas
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
Ability to participate in off-hour client incidents or escalations
Perform other responsibilities as assigned

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote.
