UMB’s Wealth Management takes a holistic and collaborative approach to advise our clients on the investment plan that makes the most sense for their personal financial goals. The Wealth Management department is important to the company because it provides another opportunity for the company to have a diverse revenue stream. The Business Operations Manager serves as subject matter expert on all operating systems including SEI Wealth Platform.

As the Manager of Business Operations, you will provide client service management of incidents, service requests, and various reconciliation reviews, you will also oversee all ongoing system releases for the SEI Wealth Platform. You will be responsible for leading Customer Service Management calls with SEI's various service representatives. You will be responsible for all SEI releases of new updates to the system, setting up key training and release project management to ensure the team's are fully aware of new updates and tools. You will also manage a small team of SEI Analysts.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • You will provide oversight on entering incidents into CSM which may included questions, defects, changes, etc, you will oversee all communication related to the incident and communicate and fix appropriately.

  • You will provide oversight on service requests including but not limited to: wire requests, ACH recalls, corrections, stop payments, etc.

  • You will be the point of contact for the Trust Operations group, handling CSM notifications for processing, trade settlement follow ups, etc.

  • You will attend and lead weekly CSM calls between UMB and SEI.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

  • Prior investment Wealth Management software platform, or specifically SEI experience or willingness to get certified within 6 months.

  • 5 years in Investment Management, or financial services experience.
