Lead Clinical Consultant - Truman Medical Center
As a Lead Clinical Consultant, you will partner with Cerner client clinical stakeholders to form relationships and holistically impact client clinical performance, satisfaction, and clinical and business outcomes during project engagements. You will be responsible for guiding internal and external project teams through workflow and clinical design recommendations in complex client environments, as well as leverage continuous process improvement techniques to promote improvements in quality of care and patient safety. You will also act as a final point of escalation for clinical workflow integration risks and issues in addition to partnering with engagement management team to influence project strategy and drive outcomes. You will also drive organizational and internal team initiatives.

At least 10 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
At least 3 years of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience
At least 7 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Healthcare, related field or equivalent relevant work experience
Registered Nurse – State Board
At least 3 years of people management work experience
At least 3 years of Ambulatory work experience
At least 3 years of Cerner Millennium work experience
Must reside in or around the Kansas City area
Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
