The Finance Business Analyst is the Finance subject matter expert on all Finance systems. The Finance Business Analyst partners with Information Systems, all Finance functional areas, and end-users to develop or improve automated business processes to improve efficiency, solve business problems and ensure data integrity. Plays major role during all ERP system governance, implementations and upgrades. Develops and maintains Finance system procedural documentation and training materials. Provides functional support for current Infor modules, including but not limited to: general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and interface tools. Also, may serve as Finance subject matter expert support for other Finance ancillary systems and integration points. This requires working knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Restricted Fund accounting.
And 3-5 years relevant experience working closely with ERP Financial systems either as a high-volume end user or as a systems analyst qualifies as work experience.
2 years of directly related experience in the same job may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
To be successful, incumbent needs to be highly analytical yet be able to still see the “big picture.” Incumbent must have the ability to manage multiple constituencies who often have different working styles and goals and the ability to build strong working relationships with other areas of Finance, Information Systems staff, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, and hospital leadership.
In addition to the skills previously mentioned, incumbent must be comfortable with change and have the ability to think creatively especially in terms of finding better ways to accomplish the goals of the department and the organization.
