About This Job
The Family Office Client Associate provides high level service and support to Family Office Advisors and the clients of Commerce Family Office. The primary focus of this role is to support client-facing officers in delivering services to a select group of ultra-high net worth clients and families. A secondary, but highly important, focus is to serve as an additional point of contact within the Family Office team for both clients and other bank colleagues.
Track and record financial information pertinent to the preparation of financial reports
Assist in preparing and disseminating periodic customized financial reports
Provide support in the areas of bill payment and fund transfers, working with other CTC officers
Facilitate accurate client record keeping throughout various systems and forms of communication
Work with different web-based document storage systems to maintain documents and other data for ready access by family members and their advisors
Work with internal bank systems for storing and organizing documents and other data
Communicate with external and internal support specialists as needed
Provide email and telephone coverage for Family Office Advisors
Help organize client meetings
Serve as an additional point of contact within the Family Office team
Assist with various administrative functions
Assist with CRM entries and database management
Provide backup for Family Office Advisors during absences
Prepare and distribute various forms of client communication and communication on behalf of clients
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to resolve problems and identify and drive process improvements
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial services
Ability to communicate effectively with Family Office clients
Advanced Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint software capabilities
Ability to learn and be flexible
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Results oriented and self-motivated
Exceptional customer service skills, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality appropriate for Banking environment
Ability to research, identify, analyze, and resolve customer inquiries
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Access and PowerPoint
Education & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in financial services or accounting required
