Federal Reserve System Expert Strategy, Continuity and Risk Management Analyst in Kansas City, Missouri

The position will provide broad support to the three department functions: Strategic Planning and Execution; Risk Management; and Business Continuity. This position will elevate team performance by identifying and managing initiatives, coaching teammates, and supporting data maturity efforts. Ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can lead engagements with Bank executives. Relevant skills include strategic planning, enterprise risk management, discussion facilitation, project management, and quantitative analysis.

Key Activities:

  • In collaboration with product owners, lead program work of high complexity and priority

  • Coaches, delegates, and reviews work of less experienced staff

  • Coordinates work and facilitates communication among team members and externally

  • Provides consulting expertise in areas of strategy, risk management, and/or business continuity

  • Fosters a quantitative approach to strategic execution and risk management

  • Monitors industry and organizational trends and recommends or implements related program modifications or process improvements

  • Contributes to team strategy development, execution, assessment, and adaptation

  • Leads or completes ad-hoc projects and/or assignments


  • Typically requires at least 15 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Enterprise Strategy and/or Risk Management is strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.

  • Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
