We are excited to share the opportunity of Director for Cerner’s Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management Center of Expertise (COE). This team is responsible for enabling Cerner’s strategic imperatives and transformation by improving organizational health and performance through innovative HR solutions and services to deliver measurable business value. In this role, the Director of Enterprise Change Management is a part of the leadership team of the Organizational Effectiveness and Change COE. You will provide oversight and enable the delivery of the OE&C strategies and implementation of key OE&C practices/services. The change management practice team will facilitate strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment and other change management interventions while providing expertise to leadership and direction in cross-functional project team(s). In addition, the team will help solve complex organizational changes as well as design and implement change management strategies, plan to enable effective sponsorship, align leadership teams, enable adoption of desire behaviors and reinforce the change. This includes providing change leadership expertise either directly or indirectly and acting as function head within the business area. By working closely with leadership on change strategies that maximize associate engagement and enablement, it will facilitate a culture that maximizes organizational productivity and associate satisfaction. This leader will develop, prioritize, and execute the long-term OE&C objectives and strategies in line with broader organizational strategies, securing sign-off/support and ensuring delivery and implementation. In this role, you will ensure appropriate procedures exist and are adhered to by the business and OE&C, and ensure the ongoing evolution and development of those procedures align internally to both short and long-term goals. Developing and managing budget plans and monitoring budget performance along with ensuring appropriate resources are in place with the tools necessary are key responsibilities in this role. In addition to these responsibilities, this associate will use strategic and innovative thinking to influence and inspire across functions and clients in order to drive success.

At least 12 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
8 years of managing large complex transformation
At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience
At least 3 years of management and/or strategy planning
At least 8 years of experience in organizational development including assessing organizations, designing and implementing organizational development initiatives
A Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, HR Management, MBA or a related field
Five or more years of relevant professional level experience (e.g., organization development, program design and management, etc.)
Currently living in or able to relocate to Kansas City metro area
Able to travel up to 20%
