Overview

Design, Build and maintain reports and data visualizations using Tableau, Excel and other platforms as requested. First tier of support with end user and questions and trouble shoots of reports.

Develop skills and knowledge to become a Tableau Administrator, including learning how to set up projects, groups and users; learning how to implement Tableau security; learning how to perform software upgrades and testing; participating in communication with the vendor regarding bugs and errors; participating in Tableau team calls.

Researches, analyzes, evaluates and assists with ongoing data analysis and data needs within Medical Administration. Gather and interpret data from a variety of sources to help the organization make operational business decisions and support the physician practice plan. Creates and modifies reports to gather and report data as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Create reports, dashboard, and other displays of information across a variety of data sources.

  • Work with end users to determine requirements and collaborate on navigation and functionality.

  • Identify and implement solutions to issues in visualizations and reporting. Answer user questions, track problems received/resolved and implement solutions.

  • Design, manage, validate, and analyze data related to the needs of Medical Administration. Promote and maintain the integrity of data within Medical Administration. Work with Medical Administration and administrative leaders in professional departments to compile, organize, display, and provide useful operational, practice and financial data in support of the operational needs and the practice plan. Utilization of multiple data sources to perform analyses.

  • Analyze patterns, trends and correlations between various data points.

  • Understand all available reports and analytical tools to perform financial analysis, reviews and presentations.

  • Collaborate with business partners in Revenue Cycle, IT, Finance and OFD for optimal operations partnership, including all other Administrative duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience in health-care data management and information systems or

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 7 or more years experience Prior work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree

  • Mastery of the software tools utilized for this position including, but not limited, to: Internet, Microsoft Office software suite, reporting writing using business intelligence/data visualization tools

  • Proficient using Tableau Creator

  • Ability to proactively anticipate the needs of stakeholders with limited or no guidance.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines for the volume of work expected without supervision.

  • Ability to provide general and project-specific training as needed.

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and adaptability to the varying communication styles between technical and non-technical staff.

  • Ability to produce work that is accurate, neat and adheres to standards.

  • Possession of strong analytical skills, excellent visual design, typography, layout and color sensibilities and skills, as well as a passion for translating data into user-centric designs.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $33.88, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work from home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend onsite meetings, as scheduled.
