This position will be working on a 1 year grant funded by the Centers for Disease Control to perform viral testing within the North Kansas City public school district. There is a potential for contract extension after the end of the year. Candidates must be able to drive and have reliable transportation to travel to the North Kansas City schools. Employee will be reimbursed for milage in traveling to the schools.

Assists in the conduct of clinical research studies in an efficient, safe and timely manner that complies with all applicable institutional and federal regulations. This position is supervised by the Advanced Clinical Research Coordinator and the Principal Investigators for the studies.

  • Coordination of study subject related responsibilities in clinical research studies, including recruiting subjects in to clinical research studies, scheduling visits, screening subjects, obtaining informed consent, and overseeing study visits.

  • Maintain source documentation for clinical research studies, complete case report forms, and maintain study files.

  • Preparing for and coordinating site visits made by Sponsors during course of study, if applicable

  • Prepare for the initiation of new clinical research protocols.

  • Assure that investigational product is handled appropriately and that laboratory tests are performed correctly.

  • Recognize, track, and report adverse events during the course of clinical study.

  • Oversee financial aspects of clinical research trial.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $21.37/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
