WHO WE ARE
Hallmark CX Marketing team is a highly collaborative and energetic group of marketing professionals focused on delivering a consistent and engaging consumer-led brand experience. Our purpose is to build relevancy and engagement with the Hallmark brand through multiple channels of distribution including mass retail partners, our own Hallmark Gold Crown network as well as growing digital platforms and solutions. The team is comprised of passionate brand and retail marketers with a desire to inspire and affirm caring consumers to spread more care and joy into our world through greeting cards and specialty gifts.
The CX Marketing team is responsible for national brand and mass channel marketing strategies and execution; social media strategy and execution for brand, product segments, and Hallmark Gold Crown channels; influencer and consumer public relation efforts; local marketing strategies for Hallmark Gold Crown network; and a best-in-class Crown Rewards loyalty program growth and retention strategies; as well as marketing support for Keepsakes Ornaments, Gift Wrap solutions and other Hallmark product focuses.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Associate Marketing Manager -Consumer PR, will be responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and execution of all consumer-focused public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in writing, PR, and media relationship management. We are looking for a self-starter with a strategic mindset who is well-organized, energetic, and eager to find new ways to reach our consumers. Our top candidates should have five years of communications or public relations experience.
The Associate Marketing Manager-Consumer PR will work cross-functionally with other marketing teams to align with the bigger organizational and industry landscape. They will lead consumer PR campaign strategy including recommendations and subsequent plan development and deployment including earned and paid media campaigns, crafting new releases, and evaluating both proactive and reactive opportunities. They must leverage consumer and category insights in meaningful ways, and have the ability to link short-term tasks to overarching business goals.
This role will also be accountable for presenting new ideas and new thinking to continually elevate PR activities and will play a key role in contributing to and driving team culture.
The following is required to be considered for this role:
Minimum 5 years of public relations experience
Your resume will stand out if you have:
Experience using public relations tools, such as Meltwater
Consumer insights research and trend analysis experience
Strong understanding of social media tools and platforms
Experience creating executive-level presentations
Event planning and management
Influencer campaign management
This position is located out of our headquarters office in Kansas City, MO. Relocation is not available.
