Job Purpose and Impact

The Material Data Owner - ANH will be accountable for ensuring a standard and coordinated approach to manage data across the Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) enterprise to safeguard the company's data assets. In this role, you will partner collaboratively with other functions and in alignment with the global process framework and business technology roadmap to drive adherence to the enterprise data strategy and enforce data standards and quality to allow the business to successfully execute against digital and business strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and foster relationships with various partner functions to deliver quality and operational excellence.

  • Monitor key performance indicators, maintain metrics and evaluate trends to improve operational support while ensuring predictable and sustained service delivery to business and partner functions.

  • Ensure operational excellence target and maintenance plans are defined and managed across ecosystems.

  • Recommend changes about rules, definitions, data quality, and processes to guarantee alignment across business and functional teams while driving data improvements.

  • Design the long-term enterprise create, read, update and delete execution strategy to support functional business deliverables via process and technology enablement, partnering with relevant partners.

  • Lead cultural change of viewing data as a business asset and implement business data strategy to ensure a standard and coordinated approach in the business organization across applications and geographies to managing data.

  • Define and build the enterprise data setup and maintenance capabilities.

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of supervisory experience

  • Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA ERP environments

  • Experience in non-SAP environments such as formulation and manufacturing systems

  • Experience recommending solutions or improvements to business processes

  • Experience in identifying and analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and defining solutions to meet business objectives

  • Experience in interacting effectively, confidently, and appropriately across various levels of management and internal customers

  • Experience navigating and bringing clarity to ambiguous situations

  • Ability to build and explain a robust data management operating model and focused culture

  • Experience in being part of a team leading through transformations

  • Experience in working in a matrixed and leveraged organization

  • Ability to travel up to 15%
