The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Tax Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Support all relevant tax matters in countries including Switzerland, Israel, Turkey, Baltics, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and others

  • Build and maintain internal relationships and support with external counsel and local tax authorities

  • Support in Tax compliance, Tax accounting including US and Local GAAP (UTP recognition, tax reconciliations), Cash tax management and forecasting

  • Supporting in cross-functional projects related to as example SAP-deployment, M&A-projects, tax optimization or a Tax Control Framework in the defined Region

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in taxes, accounting or finance

  • First experience in a tax department of multinational company or BIG 4

  • Practical knowledge of accounting rules in different GAAPs, familiarity with general tax rules as EU-directives

  • Ambitious to develop in the job by increasing responsibilities and tasks and constantly learn about tax processes and tax law in different countries

  • English – fluent

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

  • Any of the languages listed in the job description

  • Experience with SAP or Power BI
