Citizens Property Project Manager in Johnston, Rhode Island
Description
As the Property Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing property related projects and initiatives within an organization. The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of property projects, such as renovations, repairs, or maintenance. The individual in this role collaborates with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success. Additionally, this role involves the development of project plans , allocating resources, and monitoring project progress to meet objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, managing project budgets, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Primary responsibilities include
The incumbent is responsible for project planning and execution, which includes solving a range of straightforward problems that pertain to developing project plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables for property related projects.
Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for stakeholder management, which includes maintaining regular communication and provide project updates to stakeholders.
The incumbent understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish, their work. Furthermore, the incumbent is responsible for budgeting and cost control, which includes monitoring project expenses and implementing cost control measures.
In addition to budgeting and cost control, the incumbent is responsible for quality assurance and compliance, which includes conducting inspections and quality checks to ensure project deliverables meet specified standards.
Lastly, the incumbent is responsible for team management and collaboration, which may include explaining information to others in straightforward situations, or leading and managing project teams, including internal staff, contractors and vendors.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Good written/communications skills and experience working in high security areas preferred.
Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets.
Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
In-depth knowledge and proven application of Project Management methodologies and full project lifecycle including documentation standards, risk, issue, assumption and dependency management and change controls process.
Familiarity with process modeling, workshop facilitation and business analysis. Knowledge of the current business operating model and supporting systems / applications including structures and key Citizens processes and procedures. Knowledge of banking products and terminology.
Competent use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word.
Working towards/attainment of a relevant recognized formal qualification in Project Management is desirable but not essential.
Ability to create and foster a climate of adding value in delivering projects by striving for excellence.
Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and teams.
Self-thinker able to work through issues and escalate only when appropriate. Identify the impact of project deliverables on the customer and ensure these fully support the customer proposition.

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, required
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Valid Driver’s License, required
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per week: 40 Hours
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
