Position: Product Owner - Remote Access Services

Job Summary:

Citizens Bank is looking for a Platform Manager to lead our Remote Access services, delivering secure and seamless cloud based connectivity solution for CFG employees and business partners. The Platform Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all users have reliable access to necessary applications, irrespective of their location or the device they use using a zero trust connectivity model. This role involves being the product champion, driving the vision for a platform that supports the evolving needs of a dynamic workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the Remote Access product, driving the vision of secure, seamless application access for employees and partners.

Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for remote connectivity solutions within the organization.

Define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in Jira.

Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap in Confluence, communicating plans and progress to all stakeholders.

Decide on the balance of internal and external development resources, managing relationships with vendors and outsourced partners.

Craft deliverables for Statements of Work (SOWs) when external services are required, overseeing the outsourced contributions.

Maintain an up-to-date customer-facing service catalog, clarifying product details, usage guidelines, and support procedures.

Develop and disseminate training materials and documentation for end-users and support teams.

Educate and train the Network Operations team on supporting the Remote Access service.

Define requirements for telemetry and capacity management, ensuring robust monitoring and alerting systems are in place.

Required Skills:

Expertise in F5 APM, Netskope, Zscaler, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.

Experience with Cisco VPN client and other remote connectivity technologies.

A strong grasp of security principles related to remote access and application delivery.

Proficiency in managing product backlogs and roadmaps, preferably in Jira and Confluence.

Familiarity with drafting SOWs and managing vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in product management or a similar role, with a focus on network security or remote access services.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with IT, security, and vendor teams.

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills are required.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 184,080 - $ 225,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
