Position: Platform Manager - Branch and Office Network Services

Job Summary:

Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Platform Manager to lead the development and operations of our Branch and Office Networking services. The Platform Manager will be responsible for ensuring that both colleagues and customers experience seamless connectivity within CFG branches or offices. This role requires an individual who can balance strategic vision with hands-on technical skills to oversee the architecture and operations of our wired and wireless networking services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic vision for delivering exceptional wired and wireless network connectivity experiences in CFG branches and offices.

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Campus/LAN networking, constantly improving services based on user feedback and technological advancements.

Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to operational support, ensuring high availability and performance of networking services.

Define and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on architectural enhancements, feature updates, and resolving technical issues.

Develop and communicate a detailed product roadmap, setting clear expectations for deliverables and timelines.

Collaborate with network engineering teams to design and implement robust network solutions using Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies.

Oversee the integration of advanced routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and Spanning Tree Protocol.

Manage Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments and optimize Wi-Fi services for maximum coverage and performance.

Liaise with vendors, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders to align network services with organizational needs and objectives.

Required Skills:

Deep knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network hardware and management software.

Expertise in designing and operating route/switch environments, with a strong grasp of BGP, OSPF, and Spanning Tree Protocol.

Experience with Power over Ethernet (PoE) implementations and managing Wi-Fi technologies, preferably Aruba.

Familiarity with the latest trends in LAN architecture and wireless networking.

Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture or operations, with a focus on LAN and wireless technologies.

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or CWNA are highly preferred.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 184,080 - $ 225,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
