Citizens HM Cons Direct Loan Officer in Johnston, Rhode Island

Description

While in this position, you will be responsible for generating sales of home lending products including mortgage, home equity loans and lines of credit through leads and applications. These leads and applications are obtained through, but not limited to, the retail branch network, internal phone and web referrals and other internal direct to customer campaigns. You will engage in timely and responsive customer contact, while executing needs based selling techniques. It is important to note, that by adhering to all applicable quality and service guidelines, you will meet production and customer satisfaction targets. Furthermore, you will follow up and follow through with internal external customers and meet established department service level agreements. Most importantly, you’ll feel valued for who you and supported to achieve what’s important to you, personally and professionally.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Determine the customer’s financial objectives using needs based sales processes.

  • Review the customer’s lending needs, structure an appropriate loan commitment which meets their needs and conforms to credit policy, and provide the client with their customized loan solution.

  • Coordinate with the customer or third parties for information and document gathering and scheduling issues.

  • Follow customer loans through the loan life cycle; track and monitor leads, prepare projection reports, and maintain an active referral base.

  • Effectively collaborate with loan processing, underwriting, compliance, and other internal lending departments as necessary to ensure all loan conditions are met in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Maintain expertise in loan origination system(s) to ensure timely and accurate processing.

  • Provide clear, concise, focused communication to the customer and internal partners throughout the process.

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (1 Saturday per month)
