Credit Bureau Analyst/Tester

In this role, you’ll experience new things, create new opportunities, think beyond your role, and make an impact. As the Credit Bureau Analyst & Tester (Consumer Operations Execution Professional), you will be responsible for the conducting compliance testing and related to tradelines for the business unit and/or managing the daily tasks related to tradeline testing activities of Consumer Products, FCRA and/or CRA. You will be responsible for supporting initiatives that impact the overall business, ensuring that the solution can enable the business to achieve the intended outcome and understanding the organizational impact of change. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Primary focus of role is on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, and occasionally representing the business at a broader level.

  • Investigate, document, and resolve tradeline anomalies and provide result reporting to the business line. Provide logistical support for key team and business unit wide initiatives.

  • Assist with managing operational and administrative support for the business in the region to include business strategy; improvement activity; program governance, measurement systems & reporting; risk and compliance support, and project resourcing.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peer level stakeholders across the business so that these contribute both to the effective operation of the business unit and the development of the unit business plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of credit bureau reporting experience

  • Experienced on FCRA and CDIA Metro 2 requirements/standards and/or Consumer Lending products.

  • Proficient in e-Oscar and ChexSystems

  • Proficient knowledge with all federal and state regulatory requirements related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Data Furnishing, CFPB and other applicable credit reporting and dispute laws and requirements.

  • Strong proven written/verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated success to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills

  • Ability while processing daily tasks to consider process improvements simultaneously

  • Strong ability to multi-task; utilize effective organizational skills and time management skills

  • Intermediate or higher experience successfully utilizing Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Outlook, Excel & PDF Creation/ Conversion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated past job history stability

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • High School or GED required minimally with 2+ years of relevant direct work experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

  • 40 Hours per Week

  • Work Schedule: Mon.– Fri. 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET with the potential for Hybrid and/or Work from Home
