Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Business Systems Analyst with acquisition decommission logistics experience.

Create and manage the decommission of infrastructures for complex discretionary IT projects that impact multiple functional technology groups where conflicting priorities and objectives may exist.

Responsible for liaison and relationship management to contribute toward the success of U.S. Bank technology initiatives.

Responsible for determining requirements, develops the statement of work for third parties who execute the decommission, provide project justification, plan, roles, responsibilities, and reporting structure.

Responsible determining knowledge and skill sets required to ensure successful project outcome, resources and requests assignment of internal staff or external contractors with required competencies.

Ensure effective communication flow among business process owners, project team members, and all IT functions who participate in and who will inherit the results of the decommission project.

Develop detailed work plans, budget, issues list, and status reports related to the project.

Set frequency and type of interactions, extent of involvement of stakeholders, and the process to resolve disputes.

Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure a consistent delivery of the decommission service across the organization as well as look for ways to improve processes and removal efforts.

Provides mentoring and guidance on the decommission tasks when appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 6 years’ experience with activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Working experience in:

  • IT environment

  • Information management

  • IT project management

  • Product and vendor evaluation

Extensive experience in:

  • Data Center environments

  • Networking devices

  • SANS disk drives

  • Printers and fax machines

  • IT standards, procedures, policy

  • Business assessment

  • Project management and leadership

  • Business process modeling

Subject matter expert in:

  • Decommissioning small to large data centers

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $99,365.00 - $116,900.00 - $128,590.00
