Sodexo Seniors is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for I roquois Skilled Nursing Community in Jamesville, NY. Iroquois Nursing is a state-of-the-art community that offers residents the very best in rehabilitative services in a comfortable, homelike setting. This position will oversee all dining room operations for the approximately 160 skilled, rehab and memory care residents. Will report to the General Manager and must have the ability to work a schedule that rotates every other weekend.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• two or more years of food service management experience in the senior living or healthcare setting;

• a passion for food service and a high level of customer service;

• strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;

• excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors in an active, fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will:

• oversee the day-to-day food service operations for the skilled, rehab and memory care residents;

• manage and develop a team of associates to include training and daily scheduling;

• ensure food quality, safety and presentation of the residents meals;

• collaborate with other departments to enhance the resident dining experience;

• have working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance.
