The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. Wells Fargo Merchant Services (WFMS) specializes in providing solutions such as credit card, debit card, check guarantee, e-commerce and gift cards to businesses of all sizes. WFMS is nationally recognized for its ingenuity and reputation as a leader in the electronics payments industry. We are searching for a highly motivated eReceivables Sales Analyst 2.

This eReceivables Sales Analyst (ERSA) will support multiple members of the electronic receivables solutions sales team, specifically eReceivables Sales Consultants with complex Middle Market or Corporate and Specialized Industries portfolios.

The ERSA will support the entire sales process in coordination with the sales consultant, with the involvement spanning from discovery through the submission to implementation. This individual’s support will focus on making it easy for customers and internal partners to do business with the eReceivables team and will drive speed-to-revenue through accuracy; pre-call planning and preparation; ensuring credit and contract requirements are met; exceptional organization and communication; and through the ability to manage many moving pieces simultaneously.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to lead through change effectively and work independently. The individual has the capacity to learn quickly and understand the “why” behind every action, requiring high engagement and interest in understanding the eReceivables business.

• Produce client-focused presentations and proposals

• Maintain accurate sales pipeline

• Understand credit and contract requirements and ensure those requirements are met

• Escalate issues, concerns or delays throughout deal life-cycle promptly

• Assist with all pricing functions such as new pricing requests, exception pricing, and pricing inspections

• Manage divisional initiatives/projects impacting the portfolio as needed

• Handle complex research needs and issues independently

• Perform and/or assist in performing financial statement and/or merchant statement analysis for non-complex relationships

• Prepare materials and lead pipeline calls with sales partners and implementation managers

• Train and/or mentor less experienced ERSAs

• Provide knowledge share on team and regional calls regularly

• Serve as a subject matter expert for team by providing new hire and/or ongoing system, process, policy and procedure training

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, sales support, general banking, or direct client contact; or a BS/BA degree or higher

Desired Qualifications:

  • Sales or client support experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of general banking

  • Experience with treasury management products and services
