JOB SUMMARY

Executive Leadership position responsible for inbound and outbound warehouse, facilities management, operations systems and related third party providers. Responsibilities include achieving performance key metrics, expense and revenue management, strategic execution of local and corporate initiatives, compliance with government regulations, safety/security of the buildings contents, people, and leadership of staff. Responsible for implementing and executing Sysco IFG's Food Safety Policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the wholesome, accurate, efficient, fiscally responsible daily work and safety of Inbound and Outbound warehouse, facilities, and office associates.

  • Strategically monitors and adjusts departments' activities, policies and practices to meet or exceed KPI's.

  • Communicates with Merchandising, Sales Management and Market Managers to resolve any customer issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • HSD or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Experience

  • 10 years of operations distribution management experience.

Professional Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. AS400 experience preferred.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Ability to successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings.

  • Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments, operating companies, corporate and business community in a proactive and constructive manner.

  • Ability to manage the pressures and stress associated with a deadline-oriented atmosphere and customer service issues. Demonstrates skill in making independent decision in support of company policies and procedures in a timely manner.
