National Grid Elec Prod Clerk 4 in Island Park, New York

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for SAP payroll preparation on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for processing department shopping carts for various company vendors

  • Perform all regular office duties: fax/scan documents, typing, copying, telephone coverage, mail distribution.

  • Utilize various Microsoft O365 programs to maintain files, logs, draft letters, memos, forms

  • Maintain inventory of all office supplies

  • Responsible for processing of processing/follow up on department shopping carts/check request/expense reports

  • Maintain weekly “Call out” Overtime list for various personnel

  • Provide coverage for the other office clerks when

  • Maintaining employee training records.

  • Maintain various personnel files

  • Process and track various reports such as but not limited to TWIC Cards, Burn Permits, Welding Qualification, Medical Qualifications/requalification’s, etc.

  • Oversee the administration of Absence Management Sick

  • Special assignments such as running SAP Reports and maintaining tracking rep

Qualifications

Perform simple arithmetical computations.

Candidates for this position will be required to successfully pass a typing test with a minimum of 48 w.p.m and the Clerical Assessment Test

In addition to possessing the qualification for this vacancy, employees selected will be expected to work overtime in accordance with departmental requirement and to participate in company Emergency Restoration Program as may be required.

Pay Rate: $31.34 per hour

Location: Island Park

Newly hired employees are bound by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement as well as other agreements between the Company and the local union.
