About the Role : Scrum Master

The Team : Corporate Platforms is an enterprise-shared service enabling people, functions, and divisions. We take a community approach in making decisions in partnership with stakeholders who are consumers of our services with the belief that technology allows people to do their best work. To further enable us in this mission we are recruiting for a Scrum Master to join our Solution Delivery team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for driving technology projects and delivering project outcomes negotiated with the business owners and product managers.

Responsibilities and Impact : Our Solution Delivery team supports multiple value streams for the business and as a member of this team you will have the opportunity to have an impact across the entirety of S&P Global by delivering innovative solutions for our business stakeholders across divisions. As an experienced Scrum Master, you will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams ensuring work is sufficiently defined, stays on schedule, and is free from impediments.

  • Provide insight on best practices for high performing teams in the delivery of technology projects, ensuring team actions are aligned with project goals.

  • Lead technical delivery on team(s) and projects using agile methodologies i.e. Scrum/SAFe.

  • Document and manage deliverables, milestones, and risks, communicating out and up to stakeholders with focus on continuous improvement.

  • Lead daily scrum meetings, iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver work.

  • Participate in the scoping of proposed enhancements.

  • Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Architects to turn business requirements into well-defined features and user stories.

  • Assist in the identification and resolution of dependencies and risks across teams.

  • Track and report on team progress and performance metrics.

  • Encourage a continuous learning environment to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile/SAFe concepts and principles.

  • Ensure transparency and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.

  • Facilitate and support SAFe ceremonies such as PI (Planning Interval) Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.

  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across the Agile Release Train (ART).

  • Support the implementation of SAFe principles and practices within the team and organization.

  • Promote a culture of relentless improvement by encouraging experimentation and innovation.

What We’re Looking For :

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (i.e., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master coaching technology teams in a data driven environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Skilled in managing stakeholder relations, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team management skills.

  • Proven ability to deliver projects from start to finish, working collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or experience of leading scrum teams focused on Salesforce solutions.

  • Certifications including Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe® Scrum Master.

  • Experience working in Azure DevOps or comparable systems.
