The location: Islamabad, PK

The Shift : 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The Team: You will join a very creative and enthusiastic global Capital IQ Solutions Segment Marketing team that is responsible for driving engagement with current clients and generating qualified leads for new business. We achieve this through a diverse marketing mix of events, web, email, advertising and social media, and strive to communicate the value of our solutions through efficient operations and tactical expertise. Our team spans the globe, yet we remain in tight collaboration and communication through team meetings and seamless workflow technology.

The Impact: Your position is critical to support the Capital IQ Solutions Segment Marketing team, with alignment and focus specifically on the Financial Institutions segments covering Europe. The Marketing Coordinator will work under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager to assist in the development and implementation of various campaigns to engage clients and drive lead generation as they relate to larger business strategy. The Marketing Coordinator will also engage with other marketing teams, as well as product and commercial team members to understand S&P Global Market Intelligence’s solutions, our target persona workflows, go-to-market strategies, and the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing communications  – Utilize strong copywriting skills to create various forms of content including producing web and advertising copy, social posts, and email campaigns aligned to the business’ growth strategy. Learn to analyze and measure the performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.

  • *Event support & management * – Work closely with the Event team and business areas to assist in the execution of trade show and webinar participation, including pre-event communication, attendee check-ins, and post-event lead processing as well as understand event KPIs; suggest opportunities for event optimization.  

  • Cross functional teams – Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Events, Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Education, Design, Compliance, Branding) to support the project management and delivery of all marketing activity and provide timely updates.

  • Sales enablement  – Develop sales collateral and materials to help Sales communicate the value proposition of products and support the selling process of those products.

What we’re looking for:

Basic qualifications & skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s or MBA Degree in Marketing, English, Business, Finance or equivalent education and experience.

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience working in a marketing, agency client servicing or equivalent experience, preferably in the financial services sector.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written)for stakeholder management, basic-to-intermediate knowledge of MS Excel skills and proficiencyutilizing Microsoft Office products including database is required.

  • Strong organizational skills required to prioritize multiple initiatives and projects concurrently and meet established deadlines.

  • Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team with minimal directions.

  • Ability to work in different time zones depending on the business requirement.

Preferred qualifications & Skill Set:

  • Long-term interest in a career in marketing

  • Comprehensive understanding of segment personas and the S&P Global Market Intelligence products/solutions that support their workflows (deep familiarity with banks and capital markets a plus)

  • Initiative driven, Can do attitude
