The Team:

The Data Tagging team will be the foundation of Kensho’s state-of-the-art ML solutions for a wide range of complex problems, including information extraction from document text and tables, document layout analysis, entity recognition, thematic tagging and more. These solutions power our customers’ data operations (including S&P Global’s), and serve as the foundation for Kensho’s natural language processing products, such as NERD and Classify.

Impact and Responsibilities:

  • We are currently seeking annotation analysts to help accelerate our model development cycle and continually raise the standards of our data operations.

  • Be part of a dedicated team of annotation analysts who drive Kensho’s state-of-the-art machine learning solutions by generating best-in-class labeled data.

  • Become a subject matter expert in annotation workflows and annotation guidelines

  • Label and evaluate documents and predictions in assigned queues for a variety of NLP-related projects

  • Apply creative and independent thinking to identify and solve complex edge cases and eliminate ambiguity

  • Collaborate with Kensho’s AI Data team and machine learning engineers to adjust instruction sets, provide feedback and insights, and explore promising strategic initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualification :

  • Graduate Degree in Finance/Technology

  • Subject matter expertise in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication

  • Working knowledge and genuine interest in Python and SQL

  • Good understanding and interest of Financial Markets, Corporate Actions & Financial Products (Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets)

  • Client centric mindset

  • Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and effective Time Utilization/Project Management skills

  • An inquisitive and investigative nature.

  • Ability to interact with varying levels of seniority, and handles issues in a mature and professional manner
