CVS Health Lead BI Engineer in Irving, Texas

Position Summary

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Irving, TX: Lead BI Engineer to devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information source to produce financial and market intelligence. Duties include: Define, design, develop, test, deploy, and support APIs, microservices that comprise critical business application applications; Integrate business logic solution with PySpark Framework running on Azure Databricks, GCP dataproc, and On-prem Spark environment; Integrate business logic with upstream and downstream systems and applications, including RDBMS, File system, Hive, Delta lake, Azure Data Lake, Azure Event Grid, Azure Function, Azure Event Hub, etc.; Collaborating closely with the teams setting UI standards to ensure that the UX offers the best possible experience; Publish data processing and modeling result/dataset to RDBMs on Azure SQL solution and generate microservice through restful Azure Function API; and Build and manage Terraform-based infrastructure as code for automatic environment. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs; Hibernate, Oracle, or MongoDB; Docker or Kubernetes; Hadoop; “Big data” tools and technologies, including PySpark, Hive, Databricks or Kafka; “Big data” platforms including: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Software release management tools, including JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; and MySQL or NoSQL.

Pay Range: $130270.00/year to $230000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
