CVS Health Data Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure Internship (Graduate) in Irving, Texas

Job Description

This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on June 6th, 2022 and will end on August 12, 2022.Locations: Irving, TX / Chicago, ILThe Enterprise Data Engineering team facilitates and enhances advanced analytical decision-making capabilities across CVS business units. We do so by strategically leveraging cloud and big data technology and infrastructure that automates analytic tasks and makes data insights faster, deeper, and more accessible. What you will do: You will be assigned a project aimed at optimizing the setup and configuration of one of the world’s largest healthcare data platforms in the cloud – creating rich, cloud-enabled healthcare data assets utilizing the latest tools and technologies that are driving high quality data science, analytics, reporting, and other business model initiatives. Your opportunity will be to leverage CVS Health data assets and cloud technology platforms to create automated analytical processes.

Required Qualifications

-Meet educational requirements (see education section)-Experience with conceptualizing data models and developing data pipeline processes -Experience with querying and manipulating large data sets (SQL) -Experience with communicating analytical insights through data visualizations such as Tableau-Experience working in Cloud platforms and Cloud infrastructure

COVID Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with communicating project progress and results using Microsoft Office products-Demonstrated ability to quickly develop knowledge and understanding of new domains and underlying data sources-Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines -Demonstrated strong analytical and problem resolution skills -Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience -Experience encouraging teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness -Experience being resourceful and quickly and successfully adapting to change -Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health-Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines

Education

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a program relevant to the position (Examples include: Business Analytics, Information & Technology Management, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics)• Anticipated graduation date between December 2022 and August 2023
