Ingersoll Rand Senior Spare Sales Engineer in Hyderabad, India

Designation: Senior Spare Sales Engineer

Experience : Minimum 7-8 years’ experience within the Vacuum Pump/Compressor/Pump/other rotary Industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the sales of parts, service, and customer annual service / maintenance contracts for Vacuum Pump & Systems/Blowers within assigned territory.

  • To develop & implement parts and service marketing activities, go to market strategies and customer support package for each new installation. This includes recommended parts stocking, annual service contracts.

  • Provide data and feedback for parts product and inventory management team on parts competitors, general and specific market prices, parts availability, and parts requirements (old and new) to assist in fine tuning inventory stocking profile.

  • Manage and advise on the provision of credit facilities for new and existing customers and monitor the collection of receivables for parts and service within the assigned territory.

  • Carry out prospecting and conversion activity for existing customers & customers who are not using Genuine parts & service.

  • Provide up to-date competitive data from the field on existing and competitor installations through customer mapping to develop and enhance the database.

  • Handling Dealers in the Region for Spares to help achieve their respective Targets and in doing so meet region Targets.

  • Spare parts and service quotations to new and existing customers and follow up on quotations and service reports through a consultative selling approach with technical support

  • Follow up on the replaceable pump market

  • Assist with customer training, networking seminars and trade shows

  • Update and maintain the spare team SAP CRM database

  • Ensure dealers stock rotation should happen timely.

  • Fill the IDM sheet for respective regions (Spares).

  • Prepare Quarterly, Half yearly and Yearly PPT for respective regions.

  • Give Training to customers as & when required virtual or the field.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

  • Either a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Good knowledge of the aftermarket (parts & service) within Air Compressors/ Vacuum Pumps, System & Vacuum Industry/other rotary equipment’s.

  • Good knowledge of electrical & control & instrumentation systems along with process knowledge of various industries specially in pharma sector.

  • Fluent in English/Hindi Language

  • Problem solving, activity planning & organizing, ability to work with teams, high level of communication skills and technical acumen with the ability to learn new products technical changes to specifications & product features, benefits, and innovations.
