The Team:  

The Fundamentals team provides the highest quality of Fundamentals Data and other relevant industry-related information essential for our clients to make decisions with conviction. The current position is with General Fundamentals wherein we provide comprehensive global data coverage for over 65000 public & private companies. The General Fundamentals team operates in two Operating centers Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The team collects information from publicly available documents of private and public companies.

The Impact:  

This role will involve working with the team on various initiatives related to the process, people, and projects within the team. It includes an opportunity to understand business objectives, recommending & implementing solutions to business problems. It gives you opportunities to ideate and implement projects to achieve higher accuracy of dataset and faster completion of processes. Accountability would be towards understanding and owning the business objectives; being a role model for people and peer group; communicating with passion and enthusiasm, embracing change as a way of working; and leading by example when communicating new initiatives.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead team and act as a mentor. Exercise independent judgement to guide the team in the process of data extraction, resolution of issues and ensure completion according to established timelines. 

  • Establish measurement, reporting and process excellence indicators for effective accomplishment of goals in core processes. Manage metric performance tactically and strategically. 

  • Devise operational and business goals for the team that focuses on end-customer impact, productivity, accuracy, and speed to market. 

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality in the delivery of data to client. 

  • Maximize process efficiency and effectiveness through strategic planning, compliance, and governance mechanisms. 

  • Identify system and process improvement opportunities which will directly influence the client experience. 

  • Manage and coordinate change management initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with leaders to provide strategic and operational plans associated with the team. 

  • Lead and manage project escalations, potential risks, or early warning signs on project delivery to eliminate any delays. 

  • Interact and engage with the client leadership to communicate and update progress against team’s plan, BAU delivery, Projects etc. 

  • Ensure adequate onboarding and training for the team members to enhance capability & effectiveness. 

  • Build an internal talent pool and focus of helping people develop their careers. 

  • Drive diversity in the team and leadership positions. 

  • Set goals for the team, conduct timely performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to own direct reports. 

  • Coach and develop associates, assistant managers, and SMEs on career paths for job enrichment opportunities. 

  • Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team. 

  • Ensure clear and seamless communication across all levels and teams.

  • Has an in-depth aptitude to do root cause analysis, with focus on specific detail and triggers, and derive key tactical and strategic actions and solutions to improve team/client experiences. 

  • Strong teambuilding and people development skills with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication. 

  • Ability to give and accept feedback constructively and provide coaching to the team. 

  • People management skills, ability to build and motivate a team. 

  • Maintains high ethical standards both personally and professionally, to maintain transparency in the team. 

  • Understand bigger picture and broader interconnectivity and impact to the line of business and enterprises. 

  • Readiness to take on challenges and to challenge the status quo. 

  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine tasks. 

  • Experienced in Client Management / Stakeholder Management. 

  • Self-motivated individual with proven ability to multi-task and balance various aspects of work while delivering highest quality results.  

  • Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines and result oriented. 

  • Ability to adapt to change and drive change within the team. 

  • Good knowledge of Data/Content Management operations and knowledge of Fundamentals processes would be an advantage. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • MBA and or relevant experience. 

  • 4 to 6+ years of leadership experience in managing medium to large operations. 

  • 10+ years of experience in varied roles and closely involved with product & technology.  

  • Candidates with hands-on experience Fundamentals Data,Extraction, Automation, CIQ Platform, Lean, and Operations management will be preferred.

  • Proven record of drivingalignsand client experience – develop a high-performance culture. 

  • Excellent leadership skills; should have been involved in career path and succession planning.
