S&P Global Lead Data Analyst Operations in Hyderabad, India

Department overview:

Research Operations team is responsible for the collection and maintenance of buy-side and sell-side institutions, contacts as well as funds information, is responsible for answering client data inquiries, and works on other high value client projects. In this role, you will work closely with members of our global teams, adding value to our content, as you help to ensure the highest possible levels of data quality, timeliness and completeness. As an Associate Manager, you will gain invaluable insight into the areas of leadership, project management, operations, client communication, performance management, MIS reports and financial services. You will be responsible to drive production, process and content improvements across the group. You will be given the support and direction required to help the team succeed, while working as part of a diverse and experienced, passionate team. You will learn how to use Agile philosophies and a Kanban methodology to incrementally improve processes and team workflow.

Position summary:

In this role, you will work closely with members of our global teams, adding value to our content, as you work to ensure the highest possible levels of data quality, timeliness and completeness. You will gain invaluable insight into the areas of data collection, data analysis, and financial services. You’ll be given the support and direction needed to help you succeed, while working as part of a diverse, experienced, and passionate team.Duties & Accountabilities:

• Actively investigating asset management firms not currently included in IHS Markit’s, buy-side database.

• Communicating directly with investment professionals to obtain details on their investment process.

• Identifying sources and creating processes for collecting and tracking new information as needed.

• Analysing regulatory filings, prospectuses, industry publications and other sources for information pertaining to asset management firm holdings and investment information.

• Entering all changes and new information into the databases in the specified format. Communicating regularly with team leader/management/team members regarding status of projects and workload.

Education and experience:

• MBAin finance or commerce

• 2 year of international calling experience.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

• Enjoys and can handle a fast-paced work environment

• Ability to work in both a team and individual environments
