About the Role : IT Service Management Data Lead

The Team : The service team’s goal is to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and innovative DTS (Digital Technology Services) services/solutions that enable seamless experiences for our end users and customers to drive S&P Global to Power the Market of Future. Comprising of the Service Delivery Management, ITSM and AI/Ops, this team aims at delivering operational experience via agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and OLAs working to deliver a seamless Digital Experience across our stakeholder groups from our developers to our end-users. In the world of data analysis, “Performance Analytics & SLM” a space within ITSM plays a vital role in decision making. We are responsible for producing meaningful insights out of the large data that enables the leaders to take data driven decisions, focus on areas that need attention and show insights on areas that have performed good, bad or need improvement.

Responsibilities and Impact : By building and maintaining dashboards, we provide the information that powers our customers’ success. As a member of the Performance Analytics & SLM team, you will work to deliver this same powerful information driven advantage to our internal teams and business leadership. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Service management Data Lead to manage our Service management data analytics. As the Lead, you will be responsible for managing the data analysts, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and utilizing data to provide valuable insights that contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives

  • Gather, clean, and validate raw data from various sources.

  • Develop and maintain efficient data management systems.

  • Apply advanced Excel techniques to manipulate and analyze data effectively.

  • Utilize BI tools to create insightful reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data sets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related discipline.

  • Expertise in PowerBI or other BI tools is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in analytics or data science roles.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a team lead position within an analytics team.

  • Experience in working with large datasets and using database management systems.

  • Deep understanding of data management and business intelligence concepts and technologies

  • Key knowledge of ITSM practices and Service Level Metrics.

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in customer management strategies and techniques.

  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in analytics and data science
