Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor. The Pharmacy Vision is to deliver optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, every time, and that each Pharmacy employee understands how he or she contributes to the health system’s vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families. Each Pharmacy employee will be essential in ensuring that Novant Health Pharmacy exists to ensure safe, effective, and affordable medication use in our communities, one person at a time. The Supervisor Pharmacy serves as part of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health. The Pharmacy Supervisor accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to improve processes based on feedback from the customer. Monitor drug distribution and operational workflow. Review, interpret, metrics to identify improvements, collaborate with other departments for disciplines to achieve desired outcome and ensure timely project management. Perform process analysis and communicate the status of core processes/activities to manager or director.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Ph. D./M.D./D.D.S., preferred.

  • Experience: Previous leadership or supervisory experience, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 90 days of hire by either examination or reciprocity, required.

  • Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in facility policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
