Job Summary

Novant Health Sports Rehab clinic is seeking a PRN Performance Specialist. The Performance Specialist is responsible for the coordination, supervision and implementation of specific wellness, performance and bridge rehabilitation programs. The candidate must have College / Professional Strength and Conditioning and/or Sports Performance Experience.

Qualifications

Education: BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree required. Master's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field preferred. Minimum of two years of training experience within a sports, performance based, athletics, collegiate, or professional sport setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM; BLS required.

Additional Skills Required:

  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

  • BLS certified.

  • Excellent presentations skills in various group setting.

  • Strong customer service skills where servicing the client is top priority.

  • Energy and passion for mentoring others to achieve their personal wellness goals.

  • Social media experience, knowledge and participation. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
